Regional weather discussion... Around 9 AM...satellite images indicated the leading edge of low overcast conditions extended from near Okemah to Pauls Valley and just east of Waurika. This represented a return of gulf air ahead of another cold front. Areas of fog were also noted with the clouds with most visibilities between 1 and 3 miles. Some lower visibilities will be possible. As temperatures continue to warm this morning the fog will dissipate. However...the low cloud cover will linger into the afternoon hours but will gradually dissipate during the afternoon. Very warm temperatures will occur ahead of the cold front today with temperatures ranging from the mid and upper 70s over western north Texas to near 60 degrees across northwest Oklahoma. Strong and gusty northwest winds will develop across northwest Oklahoma as the front pushes farther south into western and central Oklahoma.
